Sharing of Information

Keeping our Members informed

We endeavour to keep our members updated at every opportunity – here are some of the ways we do this ….

Ad hoc bulletins

With the fast moving pace of the PI world, it is vital for you and your staff to be kept abreast of industry news, important rule changes, RTA judgments and what MASS is doing.  Members will receive email bulletins – but only when relevant – so you will know it is worth reading and to pass it on to your staff. We will also ‘post’ bulletins in the members area.

Small Claims Limit and Whiplash Damages Campaign

The 2015 Autumn Statement announced a fresh round of reforms that will fundamentally impact on the ability of accident victims to seek redress and justice. Since then, MASS has been constantly involved in the fight to defend the rights of the accident victim who, through these proposals, will be deprived of access to independent legal advice and the justice they deserve.

We are keeping in regular contact with our Members on this  – we will, as always, email directly to ‘MASS Main Contacts’ and then post emails to the Members area.

Every month we provide our members with a “MASS Members News Round-up” containing up to the minute information on:

  • What MASS is up to on our members’ behalf
  • Up-coming events
  • Recent case law
  • The latest courses from MASS Training
  • Anything else we think our members should know about!

We aim to email the MASS Members News Round-up out during the last week of each month and the ‘copy’ is then posted in the Members area of this website.

Regional meetings

It’s all about sharing …

Each of MASS’ 12 regions hold regular meetings. This is great way for members to

  • Discuss current legal issues and MASS activities
  • Pool information and knowledge
  • Share best working practices
  • Be updated on relevant topics by guest speakers
  • Swap stories and local gossip!

To find out what’s going on in your region contact your regional co-ordinator or enquiries@mass.org.uk

Website

In this day of accessing information and help through the click of a button we all know the importance of professional and informative websites. The MASS website is designed specifically to assist the consumer with information and help regarding RTAs and guidance to a specialist solicitor.

It is also an invaluable tool for PI solicitors and, of course, MASS members to keep up to date with relevant industry news and developments.

We encourage all MASS members to login to the Members area of the website – just click on the ‘login’ button at the top right of the screen and follow the instructions to register.

Our Mission Statement
